Santa Barbara Dietitian
IBS, SIBO & Weight Management

Santa Barbara clients often tell me the same thing: the specialists they really want are ninety minutes down the 101, and driving to LA for every appointment isn't realistic. So they've made do with general advice, and their gut hasn't improved.

You shouldn't have to move to Los Angeles to get real IBS and SIBO care. I've spent 25 years in this niche, including early work at Cedars-Sinai alongside Dr. Mark Pimentel, the researcher who put SIBO on the map, and I bring that same expertise to you over video.

Working with me is entirely virtual: the same testing-first, root-cause approach, without the commute.

Why Santa Barbara Clients Come to Me

The wellness community in Santa Barbara is sophisticated and health-conscious. My clients here have often already tried the standard approaches — and found them lacking. They come to me when they're ready for answers, not management.

Most of my gut health clients have been told they have IBS. What many don't know is that up to 80% of IBS cases are caused by SIBO — a condition that is both testable and treatable. Once we identify and address the root cause, the difference in how people feel is profound.

For weight management clients, the story is often similar. The answer is rarely willpower or effort — it's usually biology, habits, or an underlying gut issue that nobody has addressed.

What I Specialize In

  • Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and chronic digestive issues
  • SIBO and IMO — testing guidance and dietary treatment
  • The low-FODMAP diet — all three phases
  • Sustainable weight loss and metabolic health
  • Weight management for women over 40
  • Combined digestive and weight programs
