Malibu Dietitian
IBS, SIBO & Weight Management

Malibu might be the wellness capital of the country, and my Malibu clients have usually tried all of it, the juice cleanses, the colonics, the probiotic of the month. Often they arrive more bloated than when they started, and more confused about what's actually wrong.

Here's the issue: most of those trends treat symptoms, and some of them make an overgrowth in your small intestine worse, not better. The fix starts with finding the actual cause. For many of my clients that's SIBO, and it responds to testing and a real plan, not another trend.

I work with Malibu clients virtually, so the same root-cause care fits around your life instead of a drive into the city.

A Depth of Experience You Can't Fake

My expertise didn't come from a weekend certification. When I was a dietitian at Cedars-Sinai Medical Group, Dr. Mark Pimentel — the researcher whose work defined modern SIBO care — was a colleague of mine, back when almost no one knew the term. I could call and text him directly, and I was among the first to ever take the SIBO breath test, in the early days when it only measured hydrogen, before Xifaxan and before the low-FODMAP diet existed. I've been close to this work since it started, and that history shapes how I treat every client today.

Personalized, Never Templated

Even in Malibu, most people have run the same frustrating loop: excellent doctors with limited answers, weight-loss programs that don't last, and advice that ignores their individual physiology. My approach is the opposite. No template, no one-size protocol — a genuinely personalized strategy built from a deep understanding of your metabolism, your history, and your life.

Getting IBS and SIBO Right

Chronic bloating, digestive pain, and unpredictable symptoms are too often dismissed or half-treated. Many people living with these have never been properly tested for SIBO in the first place. As a Monash University certified low-FODMAP dietitian, I work alongside your physician to identify what's really going on and guide you through the full three-phase low-FODMAP process — so symptoms become predictable and your diet gets wider, not narrower.

The VIP Option

For those who want the highest level of access and personalization, my VIP program offers:

I keep my client roster small on purpose, so each person gets the attention this work requires.
