Bel Air Dietitian
IBS, SIBO & Weight Management
Bel Air clients usually come to me after a long, quiet search. You've seen the specialists, tried the cleanses, maybe worked with someone who had you on a supplement regimen that cost a fortune and changed nothing. And you've done it all without making it anyone else's business.
Here's what I've learned in 25 years: persistent bloating and irregularity almost always have a root cause, and for a lot of my clients that cause is SIBO, something standard workups miss unless someone looks for it. That's the work I do. We test instead of guess, then build a plan around your life, not a printout.
I work with Bel Air clients entirely virtually, which also happens to be the most private way to do this: no waiting room, no commute, just focused one-to-one care.
I Was Here Before This Was a Field
Here's what sets my practice apart, and it isn't marketing. Back when I was a dietitian at Cedars-Sinai Medical Group, Dr. Mark Pimentel — the researcher who defined SIBO — was a colleague of mine. I could reach him on his cell and text him my questions, and I was one of the first people to take the SIBO breath test — back when it measured hydrogen only, before Xifaxan existed, and before the low-FODMAP diet had been developed. I've been close to this field since it began, not since it became popular.
When Generic Advice Stops Being Acceptable
Most people come to me after the same cycle: doctors who offer limited answers for chronic digestive issues, weight programs that deliver temporary results, and nutrition advice that treats everyone the same. That's not what I do. Every client gets a program built entirely around their physiology, history, food preferences, and schedule — a strategy that works in your real life, not just on paper.
IBS and SIBO, Done Right
IBS and SIBO are among the most mismanaged conditions in medicine. A large share of people diagnosed with IBS actually have underlying SIBO — a condition that's testable, treatable, and responds well to the right dietary approach. As a Monash University certified low-FODMAP dietitian, I guide you through all three phases — elimination, reintroduction, and personalization — so you end up with more foods and more freedom, not a permanent list of restrictions.
